This Privacy Policy explains what information GoalPicks collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you may have. It applies to GoalPicks.app and the related services, pages, features, and communications we provide.
GoalPicks.app is operated by Fortelius Corp. In this policy, "GoalPicks," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the platform and its operators.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, you can contact us at support@goalpicks.app.
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, display name, profile image, authentication method, support messages, and account preferences.
We also collect gameplay and platform activity information, including games you create or join, picks you submit or update, leaderboard positions, notifications, inbox activity, invite activity, and settings related to your use of the service.
Depending on the features you use, we may also collect transaction-related information such as Goal Coins purchases, Premium purchases, bonus claims, and purchase status metadata from our payment or billing providers. We do not store full payment card details ourselves unless explicitly stated in a future flow.
When you use GoalPicks, we may automatically collect technical and usage information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, and general product interaction data.
We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, measure usage, improve performance, and understand how users interact with the app.
If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Google or Facebook, we may receive basic account information from that provider, such as your email address, display name, and profile image, subject to that provider’s settings and permissions.
We may also receive information from service providers that help us process purchases, prevent fraud, deliver emails, host media, or analyze app performance.
We use information to operate GoalPicks, create and manage accounts, authenticate users, deliver gameplay features, calculate standings, show picks and leaderboards, send notifications, process purchases, and provide support.
We also use information to improve the platform, monitor security, detect fraud or abuse, troubleshoot issues, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and communicate product or policy updates.
Where permitted, we may use your information to send product-related emails or notifications, including service messages, reminders, invite activity, join request decisions, and updates about purchases or Premium access.
Certain profile and gameplay information is visible to other users as part of the normal operation of GoalPicks. This can include your display name, avatar, leaderboard placement, picks where shown in game contexts, player card stats, badges, and inbox or invite-related identity references.
Because GoalPicks is a competition platform, some gameplay records may remain visible as needed to preserve standings, results, auditability, and competitive integrity, even if you later stop using the service.
Display names and avatars may reflect your current profile information in many parts of the app and may not always be stored as a historical snapshot for every past screen.
GoalPicks may allow users to organize private cash games, but any payment arrangement for those games is handled by the users themselves outside the platform unless we clearly state otherwise in a future product flow.
We do not collect or hold the private cash buy-ins or payouts between players, and we do not need bank account details from users in order to run the current private cash game experience.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers and contractors that help us operate GoalPicks, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, storage, support, and payment infrastructure providers.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce our terms, protect the rights or safety of users or the platform, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with legal process, or respond to lawful requests from government authorities.
If GoalPicks is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable law.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and preserve game integrity and standings history.
Because GoalPicks includes competitive records and historical standings, some account-related and gameplay-related data may be retained after account closure or inactivity where reasonably necessary for operational, legal, anti-fraud, or integrity purposes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of certain personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing.
You may also be able to update some of your information directly through your GoalPicks profile and account settings.
To make a privacy-related request, contact support@goalpicks.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
GoalPicks is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will investigate.
GoalPicks and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where our infrastructure or vendors operate.
By using GoalPicks, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than the place where you live.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our practices, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date below and provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of GoalPicks after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply to your future use of the service.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to submit a privacy request, contact us at support@goalpicks.app.
